First and Last Day

The first and last day are the most exciting times of camp. Here's what you need to know as a parent to make the day go great.

First Day 
Sunday | July 19
WHAT TO BRING TO CHECK-IN
  1.  Medications in the original bottle. We cannot accept medication that is not in the original packaging or prescription

  2.  Any incomplete forms.

  1. Arrive at Camp Tanase on Sunday, July 19th between 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm for drop off.

  2. Please allow 30 minutes for check-in

  3. You will be greeted at registration by staff who will provide information on your camper's assigned camp group and cabin.

  4. Turn in all required documents and inform the staff on the name of the individual who will be picking up your child on the last day.

  5. Campers will decorate a name tag that they will wear for the entirety of camp.

  6. You will have the option to visit your child's cabin and settle them in. All parents must be out of the cabins at the end of the check-in period at 5 pm.

  7. At 5 pm, say goodbye to your camper!

  8. For here, we will have an opening ceremony where we will go over camp rules and expectations and have activities such as a scavenger hunt, team building, and creating a camp flag.

CHECK-IN PROCESS
Last Day
Saturday | July 25
We will have camp graduation at 9:00 am that parents are welcome to attend.
CHECK-OUT PROCESS

We ask that you be courteous to Montgomery Bell State Park and drive slowly through the park leading to the camp. The speed limit on camp property is 5 mph and strictly enforced. Please watch for children as you enter the camp.

YOU MUST HAVE A GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID TO PICK-UP. (INCLUDING PARENTS/GUARDIANS)

  1. Pick up is Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 am. 

  2. A staff member will check your ID and have you sign your camper out
